8.5 years ago, we opened The Gas Works. Food kicked off in September 2019. I still remember the first time we got a full box of eggs delivered—thinking, what on earth am I going to do with all of these? Fast forward to Christmas 2025… and here we are.![]()

@gaetano.brancato.507 and Viktorija have led from the front and absolutely smashed it. The feedback and reviews this year have been brilliant to hear. The full team—chefs, floor staff, kitchen porters, and our mighty dishwasher crew—have all stepped up.![]()

We know it’s not always plain sailing (what kitchen ever is?), but I couldn’t be prouder of how the crew’s pulled together. Every person here plays their part—and without every cog, the wheel just doesn’t turn.![]()

From the chefs working flat out behind the pass, to the ever-friendly front of house who always bring the chat and a bit of craic, to the dishwasher team powering through mountains of plates—it all matters. It’s the full team effort that makes The Gas Works what it is.![]()

Food service might be wrapped for now, but The Station Bar is open from 2pm today and tomorrow, and on Christmas Eve from 11am. And if you’re after a festive pint, the Gasworks is back open Christmas Eve from 6pm and Boxing Day from 6pm for more music, craic, cocktails and good company.![]()
